He was constantly throwing stiff forearms or dropkicks, going for a spinning toe hold, or otherwise trying to maim his enemy. At one point Cyclone fell on his face and Junior dropped an elbow on the back of his head. Cyclone came up with blood oozing from both nostrils. Terry Funk, who was doing color commentary at ringside, was in awe of this move. He told announcer Steve Stack how painful it was to get elbowed in the back of the head.

"I can imagine," Stack said.

"No, you can't, Steve. You just can't imagine it unless it's happened to you," Terry said.

Cyclone literally did not land a single offensive move. Finally he just bailed out and ran away, losing on a count out. Fans were aching to see Junior get his hands on Cyclone with a longer time limit. Their feud was suddenly new again.
