The announcer was doing some announcements with a couple of the wrestlers, before the show. After that was done, things got rolling. I can’t recall the matches, but the participants were Richie Magnett, Mighty Milo, Robert Toronto, Royce Starr, Fue Manea, Farmer Boy Ipo, Leroy Brown, Superfly Tui, Saka, and finally the Polynesian Pro Wrestling Heavy Weight Champion, Lars Anderson. I had a good time, and enjoyed the matches very much.
As I left, Lia reminded me to give her a call the following Monday. I went back to the Y and told my new acquaintances about it. They enjoyed wrestling, and never realized this venue was available. I was looking forward to Monday, and my call to Lia. Little did I know that that call would change my life.
