On Thanksgiving night, a tournament was held to crown new champions.  Teams in the tournament were The Islanders, Tommy Rich/Rick Martel, Rufus R. Jones/Bugsy McGraw, The Masked Superstar/The Assassin, The Briscos, Pak Song/Angelo Mosca, Haystacks Calhoun/Klondike Bill, The Funks, Dusty Rhodes/Dick Slater, Mr. Wrestling 1&2 and Stan Hansoe/Ernie Ladd.  The final match of the tournament was a dream match for me as Jack and Jerry Brisco took on Terry and Dory Funk.  In a great match, Terry won the match with a cradle and a handful of tights.  The Funks were the new Georgia Tag Team Champions.

Due to my work schedule and other projects, I will not be writing any more installments.  I want to think Vince Fahey for giving me the opportunely share some of my memories.  I also want to thank a group of guys known as the Atlanta Boys: Greg Yarman, Lenis Sargent, Steven Prazak, Lou Ladinsky and Scott Hudson for their friendship and all the great stories they know about Georgia Championship Wrestling and other promotions.  Thank you for reading my installments and please keep on supporting Kayfabe Memories.
