GCW #5 Page #2
After the Race loss, Mr. Wrestling I and II would trade the tag belts with the Andersons once more. Around this time, maybe sooner, II would become a heel. Woods was granted a shot at NWA champ Jack Brisco, granted that Woods go without the mask. Woods decided to take the match, which incensed Walker, a man who cherished the history of the mask. II would eventually cost Woods the match and the feud was on. The feud ended with a mask vs. hair match between the two, which II won. In the next week or two, II wanted to bury the hatchet, literally, on GCW. He, Woods, and Gordon Solie talked about the situation, which ended in II driving an axe into a piece of wood and shaking hands with Woods. II would be the lead face in Georgia for years to come.
II feuded with the likes of Professor Toru Tanaka, Ole and Gene Anderson, Super A (Mike McCord aka Austin Idol), whom the Andersons sent to unmask II, Brute Bernard, The Funks, Stan Stasiak, Moondog Mayne, and others during the early Georgia years.
