Tri-State #5 Page #2
Each fan cheered or booed until at the end of the night, everyone was hoarse. Sometimes people got a little too into it. One night a regular fan who always sat row one, seat one so she could be by the Heel entrance way to scream and spit at them as they walked by to climb into the ring, got so worked up she had a seizure and had to be taken away by ambulance. In some rare cases the fans would get bored between matches and actually heckle each other. We had one fan who always sat in the front row of the balcony, dead center. He was a somewhat large man who was in no way shape or form bothering anyone. One night some jerks sitting at ringside had too much to drink and began yelling obscene things at him. He ignored it for a bit then finally screamed down to them, if they didn't shut up, he'd jump on them from their and squash their asses. The crowd cheered as loud as if we'd just witnessed a world title changing hands.
The fans of Tri-State Wrestling were great and I was proud to be a part of them.
