WWC #3 Page #2

Late in 1984, Starr began a slow heel turn, saying on TV that somebody was trying to put his career on hold avoiding him to get good matches and title matches. Finally he said on a TV show that the person who was against him was his 'teacher', Invader 1. The second hottest feud of WWC history had begun.

The hot feud took them all over the island of Puerto Rico. On the 1985 Anniversary  show, they wrestled a retirement vs. hair match, a match that Inavder 1won and Chicky had his head and moustache all shaved.  This feud continued for years, with Starr becoming also a manager and getting some wrestlers that faced Invader 1. A few of the wrestlers were Leo Burke, Dutch Mantel and Ron Starr, who was also known there as Rambo Ron Starr.

Starr left WWC in 1991 but this feud wasn't ended. Starr left for AWF, a new promotion run by Hugo Savinovich, Hércules Ayala and Chicky, with the economical force provided by a woman named Gloria Uribe, who passed away a few years later. AWF stole a lot of WWC talent, including Starr, Ayala, Savinovich, Super Médico 1 & 3, Invader 4 and others. Starr worked as a heel and everybody though that the feud would end here.

But AWF closed in late 1993 and Starr remained in hiatus. He returned to WWC in 1997 and restarted the feud against Invader 1. He paid Invader 2 to turn against Invader 1 that year. But some events caused Starr to turn a babyface.... for just a couple of weeks, but the alliance between Invader 1 and Chicky Starr lasted only two weeks, as no one trusted the other.

Starr lost a match in which he haven't been able to wrestle for a year, but returned as masked Golden Boy, winning the hair of La Ley and only lost his 'new' identity to Ray González.

Starr disappeared from WWC in 1998 and returned in 1999 to restart the feud against Invader 1 and Carlos Colón. In his absence, his real life friend and fellow wrestler Víctor The Bodyguard turned babyface and returned to be a heel when Starr returned to the promotion on 10/16/1999.

Finally, Starr jumped to IWA on 3/09/2000 after weeks of negotiations between the company and himself, even though he was tag team champion at the time he jumped. Invader 1 remains in WWC and is actually the Puerto Rican Champ, so it seems, as the wrestling world continues to develop, the winner of this feud will be undecided for a long time.
