---Don Coss joins Al Madril on the Fiesta Garden. Coss runs down the week's events and Madril gives his predictions on the outcomes. Sunday in Coos Bay: Beetlejuice vs. Scotty the Body. Tuesday in Sweethome: Grappler/Brian Adams vs. Curtis Thompson/Beetlejuice. Wednesday in Astoria: Grappler/Adams vs. Ricky Santana/Beetlejuice. Thursday in Salem: Scotty the Body vs. the Grappler for the title and Al Madril vs. Ricky Santana for the T.V. title. Friday in Eugene: Grappler/Jonathan Holliday vs. Beetlejuice/Santana. Madril, of course, picked all the heels to win, and put himself over as the "only latin lover" setting up his match with Santana in Salem.
---Match #4: Beetlejuice vs. the Equalizer.
Barr delivered some of what had to be the first high flying
moves in the history of the territory.
Equalizer is DQ'd for tossing Beetlejuice over the top rope.
---Coss interviews Steve Doll.
He said the world tour was off because he didn't know how his
partner was. He warned
the Grappler, Brian Adams, "and the little gay boy" that he
wasn't going to get mad, he was going to get even.
He said there was no more Southern Rocker, from now on just
call him the Boogy Man. Grappler,
Adams, and Holliday show up after Doll leaves and laugh about what
they did to King. Grappler
and Holliday cut a promo on Ricky Santana and Jeff Warner to set up
their match next week.
---Match #5: PNW champ Scotty the Body vs. Curtis
Thompson in a non-title match. Before
the match, Scotty claims he can do everything better than Thompson.
He jumps in and out of the ring over the top rope and asks
Thompson if he can do that. Thompson
replies no. Scotty does
his Rick Rude hip swivel and asks Thompson if he can do that.
Thompson once again replies no.
Thompson says there is one thing he can do and decks Scotty to
start the match. Beetlejuice
joins Coss on commentary and they plug some of the week's upcoming
events. Finish sees
Thompson get the pinfall with a reverse suplex.
---Coss interviews Thompson.
Thompson has the PNW title belt and demands Barry Owen give him
a shot at the belt next week. Scotty
takes the belt back from Thompson and then KO's him with it.
In a funny moment, Coss and Owen keep hyping up next week's
title match while Thompson lays unconcious on the ground.
---Match #6: Jonathan Holliday vs. Bill Francis.
Holliday destroys Francis.
We get a new graphic this week.
Instead of the standard split screen, we now have a circle with
the promo in it while the week's schedule is up on the screen.
Coss interviews Thompson, Warner, & Santana about their
matches next week. Warner
gives an update on Rex King, saying they took him to the hospital.
Great update. No
finish is shown to the match, but it's safe to say Holliday won.
---Closing video.
This was a great show, albeit a little ridiculous at moments.
Santana and Thompson both just debuted and were already the top
babyfaces in the territory. The
WWE could learn a lot about pushing new talent from this show.
