- Mike Rodgers I was scheduled to write about Lonnie Mayne this month and I will reschedule that for next month. This month I thought I would write about Cauliflower Alley. I attended the Cauliflower Alley Convention On February 9th and 10th in Las Vegas Nevada. It was 2 fast paced days of Wrestling heaven. The Northwest was very well represented at this years Convention. Present from the NW were Roddy Piper, Buddy & Tammy Rose, Moondog & Dale Moretti, Bart Sawyer Jeff Kafoury, Tito Montez, and Dean & Ruth Silverstone. Some of the other wrestlers present included Antonio Inoki, Nick Bockwinkle, Hard Boiled Haggerty, Mickey Jay, Red Bastien, Dick Beyer, Leo Garibaldi, Ray Stern, Crazy Luke Graham Jr. & Sr., Stan Kowalski, Johnny Rodz, Don Manoukian, Tex McKenzie, Tiger Conway Jr. & Sr., Fred Curry Jr. & Sr., Billy Darnell, Jack Donovan, Penny Banner, Frankie DeFalco, Ida Mae Martinez, Sandy Parker, Bob Kelly, Tom Andrews, Donn & Ted Lewin, Fritz Von Goering, Johnny Walker (Mr. Wrestling II), Stu & Ross & Bruce Hart, Jimmy Del Rey, Bill Howard, Seymour Koenig, Danny Hodge, Bruce Swaze, Al Mandell, Cowboy Bob Kelly, Paul Diamond, Ella Wladek, Charlie Smith, Bill Bowman, Karl Lauer, Mimi Lesseos, Scott Casey, Gene LeBell, Killer Kowalski, Rey Urbano, Jack Armstrong, Chavo & Mando Guerrero, Johnny Dupree, Viscera (Mabel), Dave Sheldon Angel of Death, Roland Alexander, Bison Smith, Vinny Massero, Donovan Morgan, Shannon Ballard, Kid Chrome, Percival Friend, Jim White, David The Jewish Giant, Sgt. Slaughter, Billy White Wolf (Sheik Adnan Al Kaissey), Rick Bassman, Shawn Mayne, Tom Renesto Jr, Ed Francis, and Carmine Despirto, Honored this year included Bill Watts, Norman Charles III, Pampero Firpo, Lord Alfred Hayes, Steve Strong, Billy Two Rivers, George Scott, Reggie Parks, Rita Cortez, Kay Noble, Jack Laskin, Roddy Piper, Ann Laverne, Donovan Morgan. The winner of the Iron Mike Mazurki award went to Stu Hart. Masters of Ceremony this year included Bobby Heenan, Mike Tenay and J. Michael Kenyon.
