Welcome to another installment of my UWF tales here at the wonderful Kayfabe Memories mothership. This week has been unlike any other we have ever lived through as American citizens. I won’t attempt to be profound. The pictures seen, the words written, the voices that are heard in relation to the attacks on innocent Americans are everywhere. Our nation mourns, yet its resolve is the strongest I have ever seen. I have been deeply moved by the sight of American flags everywhere, the altruism and devotion of those seeking to help victims, the dedication to seek justice for those responsible for such cowardly acts of mass murder, the genuine unity that exists in our great country today. May God truly bless America. The last time we met, the Freebirds had suffered a setback. Although they seemed prohibitive favorites to win the UWF Tag Team Title Tournament, both Freebird tandems-Terry Gordy and the Angel of Death, Michael Hayes and Buddy Roberts-were eliminated in the first round.
