- Charles Laffere
UNIVERSAL SOUNDS
"The Sunday morning gospel goes good with the
soul
There's blues, folk, and country, and rock like a Rollin'
stone
The world could come together as one
If everybody under the sun
Add some music to your day
(Add some music add some add some music to your day)
A bob didit a bop didit
You'll hear it while you're walking by a neighbor's
home
You'll hear it faintly in the distance when you're on the
phone
You're sitting in a dentist's chair
And they've got music for you there
To add some music
(Add some music add some add some music to your)
To your day
A bob didit a bop didit"

cassettes, and eight-tracks. I liked all kinds of stuff-Elvis (both
Presley and Costello), Willie & Waylon, AC/D & the Ramones, Bob
Dylan & Neil Young, Lynyrd Skynyrd & ZZ Top, Pink Floyd,
the Who & the Rolling Stones, Miles Davis. As Junior Brown has said,
there was no real criterion for what I liked-- as long as it sounded
good, it was cool.
I wasn't buying as much music by 1986 as I had
previously, but there was still some good stuff coming out. More...
