This month we will take a look at Chicago
Promoter Bob Luce's Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame.
It was located on the second level of the
International Amphitheatre in the southeast
corner. Luce would charge admission to this
exhibit hall, where you could see movies of the
old matches running constantly. When you were
done in the movie room, you could walk out to
the exhibit room and see the great displays of
wrestlers that were enshrined in The Hall. Once
in a while, you could actually see one of the
wrestlers enshrined, which was always a great
show in itself.
The following list of wrestlers that Luce
entered into the HOF is from a program dated
December 1, 1979, which was the night that
Wrestling Super Bowl V was held at The
Amphitheatre.
